On Site Measuring
We provide Free in-home measuring for all cabinets and countertops. We will meet you in your home to walk through your new kitchen layout to troubleshoot design, and look for any obstructions or details so that nothing is forgotten. This is the first step of our order process and to insure a beautiful design and it allows us to guarantee the fit.
How to Measure Your Own Kitchen
Floor Plan
Make a sketch of your existing kitchen (on a sheet of grid paper if available).
Record all measurements in inchs rather than feet.
Show ALL WINDOWS and DOORS.
- A. Start in one corner and measure each section of wall, windows, and doors. (When measuring windows and doors, include the trim in the measurement.) Record the measurements on your sketch.
- B. Measure the total distance of each wall. Record the measurements on your sketch.
- C. For each wall, add the wall section measurements (A) and compare to the total wall measurement (B). These measurements should be the same.
Plumbing and Heating
Locate the center of the plumbing and location of the heating /air conditioning registers. Record on your sketch.
Electrical
Locate the Range outlet, electric outlets, and electric switches. Record on your sketch.
