Redefining Spaces from the Floor Up.

About LVP, LVT and WPC FLooring

Luxury Vinyl Flooring is quickly becoming one of the most popular options for flooring.  It gives you the look, style, and feel of real wood, stone, and porcelain but gives you the added durability of Vinyl. Not only is this product extremely durable, but Schillings line-up of Luxury Vinyl Planks and Luxury Vinyl tiles are also waterproof.  This makes for a great option in high moisture areas where other flooring option, such as hardwood, is not recommended.  Couple this with durability and vinyl is great for almost any room in your house.

What's the difference?

LVP, or Luxury Vinyl Planks, has the look, color, and a lot of times feel of real wood but in a vinyl plank.  Sometimes the designs even incorporate the look of scrapping and embossing which only heightens the look of real wood.  You can get Luxury Vinyl planks in floating style as well as glue down.

LVT, or Luxury Vinyl Tile, gives you the look of real ceramic or stone tiles.  The natural look of the tile feels and looks like the real thing.  LVT can even come in options that use grout during installation to really give you that tiled style.

WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite.  WPC Flooring is often used to describe LVT and LVP flooring.  This type of flooring is made from a wood and plastic backing instead of a PVC backing.  Just like regular Vinyl, Wood Plastic Composite is also waterproof.
