Huber Blue Plus OSB Sheathing flooring is a superior alternative for the builder who uses commodity panels. Huber Blue Plus OSB Enhanced Weatherability Added moisture protection helps to reduce warping, buckling, and sagging. No Core Voids or Knotholes Consistent product quality and uniformity means no low-density pockets, core voids, or defects, providing increased yields and better assemblies.
OSB stands for Oriented Strand Board and is manufactured from heat-cured adhesives and rectangular-shaped wood strands that are arranged in cross-oriented layers. Produced in large, continuous mats, OSB is a solid-panel product of consistent quality with few voids or gaps. The finished product is an engineered wood panel that shares many of the strength and performance characteristics of plywood.
The T&G stands for Tongue and Groove and is primarily used for subfloor because of its edge-to-edge snapping. This allows two flat pieces to be joined strongly together to make a single flat surface.
